I take back everything I said to defend his Shrek ass, it's giving obsessive while Loreen is busy being graceful to contestants like La Zarra.

He is so OBSESSED. And of course, his teenage girl stans are working overtime trying to defend him and gaslight people. So glad he is already slowly fading into irrelevancy :heart2:

The “outrage” behind Kaarija just mentioning Loreen at his shows screams insecure Loreen fans trying to make an issue out of nothing.

SVT is gonna be so mad if they can't secure their preferred venue for the third time in a row :deadbanana2:

Even if they do it on May 11 in Stockholm, going from Eurovision to the Eras Tour in ~6 days would be a TIGHT changeover... Malmö is getting more and more likely I fear

Why can’t they do it in Göteborg?

nnnnnn They could do Avicii Arena, but you know SVT wants as big of a stage and show as possible.

Though maybe their statement about shortening the show an hour was a trial balloon for putting on a simpler show than expected. :coffee2:

Their venue doesn't meet the technical requirements. The roof of the arena is 4m too low and can only hold about half the necessary weight. I suppose they COULD do Gothenburg if there was truly no other option, but Malmö arena is much more suited to host Eurovision rn.

Even though I'm curious to see what Malmo could do in 2024, I'm still traumatized from the 2013 stage. It's one of my least favourite stage designs from the 2010s. It felt way too small :deadbanana2:

I don't think 6 days is that tight of a changeover, especially since they're both going to have concert layouts —
