I can't be objective about Baby Lasagna because my friend did the staging and I know all the **** they went through in the last month (mind you, they had 3 weeks less than everyone else to prepare for the show). He is arguably the least famous artist and their budget was basically non-existent, so I am really proud for sitting on HRT's head day and night until they were somewhat satisfied with the performance. (yall should've seen that first rehearsal dd :skull:)

On the other hand, I am so proud of my country for finally uniting over our ESC artist. That landslide had me shook and actually I teared up during his final performance :rip:  This is for sure becoming our best result since 2000, and possibly our best result ever. Not counting out the win over if they manage to get their PR game correct (which shouldn't be hard considering he has such a clear and strong story going for him).

Marcus and Martinus song acclaimed by the press  Maria Sur do something!!!

Posted

The streets are saying MM's song is Air v2 but elevated in every way. I'll probably love it since I loved Air, but I'm not liking the trend of Melfest having 1 amazing song that's an obvious frontrunner, 2-3 good ones and then the other 25 being mid fillers.

This year has been a little underwhelming tbh. Ukraine remains my favorite so far.

Honestly if it’s on the same level of Air it deserves to win :fan: but I would disappointed for Maria for sure, her song/performance combo eats

Edit: just saw what @Komet said :fan: it’s their Euphoria to last year’s My Heart Is Refusing Me I fear

ZORJA LEFT ME LITERALLY SPEECHLESS!!

She MOTHERED so, so ******* hard! What a performance, what a vocal, staging... Spectacular on so many levels! :clap3:

Posted

Zorja we will get you to Malmö and we will get you new staging moo.png

Probably one of the strongest PZE so far. There wasn't a single bad/terrible song/performance in SF1. Some really big surprises too. Literally any of 14 performances could qualify. Not everybody has that! :clap3:

Zorja was a GAG. Wrap the rest of Pesma up :clap3:

I enjoy a lot of Breskvica's music so idk why she had to go with this song moo.png

I'm sorry, but PZE has never looked cheaper. This entire thing feels pre-recorded, not just the interval acts. Camera quality sucks, the lack of live audience, the stage looks bad and even the songs are worse than last two years.

Semi 2 is much stronger so I hope they don't disappoint with stagings, cause half of the acts tonight were not it... :doc:

manifesting... Marina Satti - ZARI | Winner's Performance | Greece 🇬🇷 | Eurovision 2024

🧿

like, still can't believe my absolute all time greek FAVE is going to Eurovision...

I'm trying to be cool about it and just enjoy it, but I just know I will go feral once the time comes for the actual competition and I'm already dreading my anxiety levels (Foureira ending up at #2 behind Is*ael is still a trauma I haven't processed)

She will DELIVER nevertheless! 🧿🧿🧿🧿

Be fr please, that was atrocious :suburban:

I know this was the worse semi of the two, but it was a chore to get through. Esp since it dragged for 3 hours for no reason.

Zorja was the only serious contender, but it's giving something they'd put at #3 in eurovision. Hopefully the 2nd semi girls deliver.
