We're finally seeing a shift from the public's interest. Now it's time for live actions to start flopping.

We're starting to say no to superheroes, fast and furious, transformers...

Looks like Fast X will be fine.. Global gross will save it, just like every other Fast movies.. Looking like another $700M-ish for this one.

Fine? This movie needs to gross like $900M just to break even :deadbanana2:.

Box Office Bomb Justice League:

Budget: $300M

Marketing: $100M-$150M

WW gross: $658M

Estimated loss: $50M-$100M

Fast X:

Budget: $340M

Marketing: $100M-$150M

WW gross: $700M-750M?

Damn, that's quite a lot, this may not even break even...

$340 million ??? I know these films are popular, but with that budget they had to pull some Avengers: Endgame **** :skull: Why would they spend this much

50% of the budget is probably bloated salaries for the actors tbh

I think when the first director quit the budget got ballooned a bit. Then on top of that pretty much every actor in this film is getting a hefty paycheck. It’s a great thing Universal has been having back to back nonstop wins this year to help balance how much they’ll lose off this.

if fast had the same budget as the other ones, it'd be a win.

$689 mil so far; the last one had a final of $726 mil (5% gap to-date).

Yeah Fast X budget is insanity. But they probably didn’t expect it do struggle this bad domestically 💀 $144M. Even Antman did Way more😭Overseas hard carrying it.

Yeah I think the public is finally starting to say NO to endless and entirely unnecessary sequels, reboots, remakes, etc. FINALLY. Slowly but surely.

Live action remakes are coming, Disney has just about used up their most interesting back catalog. I guess they're going to do Moana & move on to more recent films next :rip:
