Oh MY Womanizer sounds amazing ....those nice little harmonies and beat sequences between the verses :jonnycat:

THIS version of Unusual you is 10/10 the song is amazing but I've always been bothered with the slight voice editing. This really puts the vocals upfront :jonnycat:

I heard new instruments in there for the first time. This is an incredible undertaking.

Circus sounds phenomenal too. No more burying Britney under the background singer.

How do we know Myah Jean is next?

I was thinking the exact same thing. Her vocals were FOREFRONT. And they were phenomenal. There's new instruments and sequences I can make out in each song. Even Mannequin sounds amazing with less voice alterations even though the song was meant to have that effect.

I'm actually looking forward for BJ it will been EVENT for us stans :deadbanana4:  the truth will be revealed because you can clearly hear the vocals with this tech. There no escape, it's gonna be a bloodbath :deadbanana4:

Although it's still unavailable where I live, I managed to get my hands on a legit copy in Atmos. (YT doesn't support Atmos the way Apple does, btw)

The mix is slightly different from the releases we have listened to.

Here's my track-by-track review for this release:

Womanizer: although it's great to hear so many new things going on, the main synth melody from the chorus is almost completely downgraded from this mix. The levels of vocals are all over the place. Mostly they are too upfront, especially during the verses.  So while it's nice to hear this version, I prefer the old mix.

Circus: Here we go! Such a great mix. Nothing is lost, while so much more is gained! The effects are superb, each instrument and melody is very clear, and vocals are correctly mixed through the song so it just flows…

Out From Under: Such a nice surprise to hear; but the song is still mediocre imho.

Kill The Lights: I love Danja, and I'm really glad the vibe he's trying to achieve shines through the production this time. Those horns are finally there the way they are supposed to be!

Shattered Glass: Solid mix; the sound is much clearer, like a veil has been lifted, and there are some cool tricks for the surround experience.

If You Seek Amy: So much richer! Especially the chorus, you can hear the 8-bit melodies so much clearer, which is a nice treat to the ears.

Unusual You: Again, very rich and almost perfect mix. Pre-chorus and the bridge are fav moments.

Blur: is exceptional! This was one of my favorites from Circus, so hearing the explicit version finally in such a way is amazing. The surround mix, the levels of the vocals, and the production are in perfect sync.

Mmm Papi: I'm shocked! This is one of my least-liked songs from Britney, but the new mix is so great, with so many new things to hear; I'm in awe. The bridge sounds almost brand new. I'll never know how I never noticed that siren-like synth sound during the verses.

Mannequin: Brand new mix completely erases warped-up chorus vocals; it's a catastrophe since this is one of my all-time favorites. Also, the legendary instrumental break is messed up as well because some of the synths are too low to hear this time. So while it feels new, it feels odd and I prefer the original mix.

Lace & Leather: Niceee!!! Background vocals add new depth to the song while the instruments and the general beat find way more space to spread out, making it a richer experience.

My Baby: LOL, I totally forgot about this song until now. The chorus is nice.

Radar: I didn't compare it to the Blackout Mix, but I'm guessing it's the same. Never a favorite of mine, but still, Bloodshy & Avant's production tricks are noticeably more present on this mix, which I can’t complain. Still, the verse vocals are too upfront for my taste.

Rock Me In: While I never cared for this Bonus, I always liked the production, which is very present in this mix with clearer sound effects and synth melodies. But still the chorus melody is sacrificed and takes a back seat on the stage because of these tricks, which is a shame!

Phonography: Another exceptional mix! It could easily be a demo of Dolby Atmos’s capabilities.

BTW I don’t think Britney Jean is next. I think they will go to the legacy way and mix BOMT or OOIDA next since both of the first singles are already available in Atmos. In The Zone already has Dolby mix for ages; they could also remix that as well. I wish for Femme Fatale, to be honest!

I don’t remember if it was RideOrDie or BOZ, but they told us BJ had been sent for Dolby Atmos treatment, along “Phonography” some months ago. Circus (which has Phonography) is now out on Dolby Atmos, so…

These sound so good! Brit has always had immaculate production :jonny:

Where is Amnesia though? :biblionny:

I haven’t heard this yet but I have noticed that a lot of pop girl music tends to sound noticeably worse to my ears in Dolby Atmos, at least on my HomePod. The vocals seem to be placed way closer to the forefront and the music is all the worse for it
