the listening party looked like so much fun, she's having the time of her life, STILL after like 4 decades

this album sounds like such a celebration of her signature sound

i'm so pumped to listen to it and finally see her live AGAIN

I've enjoyed this album a lot. A bit disappointed the singles misguided us when it comes to overall sound but I loved Disco so not too bad.

 

The run from Padam Padam to You Still Get Me High is amazing! But then comes Hands. Awful track. Green Light is super basic too (in a -my mom is shopping at the mall- way) but I love a saxophone. 

 

Vegas High takes us back to some nice dancefloor tune while Story is a veryyyyyy cute outro to the album. 

 

Never cared about that 10 out of 10 song tbh.

 

EDIT: Wait, just realised the best song (Somebody To Love) is a bonus track. That was Carly level slayage

I said Disco was better... it sounds like you stepping into a party non-stop, where you are not able to catch your breath! 
 

this try to delivers something but fails to do, if there were more songs like Tension that could have been a totally different album

completely agree here. Hands leaves me genuinely wondering what the decision making process for the final tracklist was considering songs like Running, Drum and Hello ended up on the cutting room floor. 

 

also, Love Train is a MAJOR bop and i can already see it being underrated.
