I honestly only heard Can't Get You Outta My Head and Love At First Sight.

I just checked out Padam Padam and think it's incredible. Apple Music then played Timebomb and I was floored as to why I never followed Kylie's music. Let me know what other songs and albums are worth checking out?!

I would start from Fever and go from there.

My personal favorite is X.

Slow, In Your Eyes, Come Into My World are her three best songs imo

Kiss Me Once is considered her magnum opus

I don't want to continue the mass-quoting, but I want to say if you want to discover Kylie's music, there are two amazing Best of albums currently available. It's the best way to get to know a new artist imo, cause it gives you an immediate feeling for the whole discography without getting mentally stuck on a certain image or sound.

Step Back In Time (Expanded) has all her important songs covered in 3 hours and then some. See what songs you like and from which album they are. Then go listen to those. If you feel drawn to her "80s albums" (before Confide In Me), you can also check out Greatest Hits for a quick overview.

Spoiler

But if you have taste you must stream the country-pop chef-dœuvre Golden:mandown:

Aphrodite is her magnum opus for me along with Body Language.

Btw, Padam Padam is pulling some impressive numbers for her! Wasn't expecting this. So deserved

@Mke1979 girl you need to listen to "Get Outta My Way" immediately. After your slain by it, get shredded into pieces by "Wow" :jonnycat:

Overall it did 620k second day on Spotify, almost double of Say Something's :deadbanana4: still rising on Apple Music and #1 on iTunes UK :deadbanana4:  Music video had better first day than Say Something and Dancing combined :deadbanana4:

The night before Padam Padam came out, I engaged in a Kylie black hole on YouTube and watched multiple performances of both of these and just smiled the whole time. Kylie brings me so much joy, it’s crazy.

Love Train sounds like an Aqua song to me (definitely not a bad thing!)

I'm always so happy when there's a new Kylie era. She's so joyful, you can tell she truly enjoys her career (especially since she went with BMG) and it utterly infectuous. The one era that did not feel like that was KMO, which is probably the reason why the album doesn't really gel with me even if i like a lot of the songs. Kylie is just a serotonine boost.

It's also why the comparisons with Madonna annoy me, because even if they are both legends with lengthy career full of hits, their modus operandi has always been very different, imo. Madonna always wants to make a statement, which has given her some incredible highs but also some cringy lows (it's part of the gamble and it's why I love her), Kylie on the other hand has always seemed to be happy to make others happy with her music (aside from her 90''s music I suppose). That's her lane -- pure, unadulterated joy and that's where she belongs.

Infinite disco was a highlight during the covid period for me, she radiated warmth and bliss in a stressful time. I'm just babbling on now, but I adore her so much. Really looking forward to Tension.

I only knew the singles (and Disco) but after trying her entire discography I can only say one thing:

listen to every album this woman has released, every piece of work is incredible

and Impossible Princess is her best album.

How did she go 5 albums between golden and disco. The math isn’t matching. NYC is not part of the disco era.

She really didn’t lie when she said she’ll be in our heads all weekend
