He knows every detail of her discography and knows how to service the songs to bring out the best both from them and from Kylie herself. Apart from his live arrangements, let’s not forget that he also produced The Abbey Road Sessions and Kylie Christmas, both real gems in her catalogue I can’t wait to hear what they’ll come up with for the Tension Tour. I wholeheartedly agree with you both, the man just knows how to make a song hit differently even after she's been performing them for 20 years. There's always a little tweak here or there that sends the song to a higher high and somehow conveys perfectly the moment of the liveshow and vibe she is going for at the moment of the concert. He also always uses incredible throwback interpolations on songs that are such a serve for long time fans. WKOF interpolation during Homecoming's Everything Taboo Medley That Free snippet during Slow on x2008 lives were changed! I'm sure he'll make the Tension and Disco songs shine when she goes on the road. He truly has never missed in the 30 years he's been her live musical director. The thought of new live versions of old Klessics has me salivating ngl And let's not forget he also produced Breathe On Me arguably one of Britney's best songs too. 1
RT Air Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Omg I’ve just received my Tension CD singles which I thought were lost… turns out the courier accidentally delivered it to someone else near me some weeks ago Luckily the guy found me today and gave them back to me, I’ve been SO mad about them because they’ve been long sold out in the Kylie store so I had no way of getting a replacement I love a happy ending 3

The “Money Can’t Buy” concert being put together over a tour, meaning the era was basically over a few months later. Or at least not choosing to at least do a few shows internationally. It’s one of the reasons why I think the era is so underrated, great album that era wise didn’t really go anywhere & almost felt like they intentionally pulled the plug to push Ultimate Kylie. I don’t think Ultimate Kylie nor Showgirl needed to come together in a way that had to have Body Language cut short. I would have loved to have seen the Money Can’t Buy show expanded to a full tour as I much preferred it over Showgirl.
