There's a bunch of fantastic tracks and it's pretty good overall but I wouldn't say that it adds anything to her discography. Better than Kiss Me More and Golden, on par with Disco and nowhere near Aphrodite. I hope Padam's and Tension's reception inspire her to do a dark cyber sex kitten record next.

I really want to know whose idea was to put 10 out of 10 on the album instead of Heavenly Body. ELECTRIC CHAIR!!!

 

HB is easily top 3 from the album already. It makes me wonder how many great gems like this she has still in her vault. If it comes to Drum, I loved it when it leaked and I still listen to it now but I understand why this song was left out. It doesn't really fit the album imo. It really surprises me that we got Bonus Track version of the album so soon. Especially since the album launched with a deluxe version already. I've expected a re-release but in early-mid 2024.

These are songs confirmed to be from Tension sessions that leaked. Drum was leaked months ago but it was officially released today as a part of digital bonus version of the album with Heavenly Body so it's no longer unreleased. All of them are available on Youtube.

I’m pretty sure we’ll get a proper re-release next year, but with newly recorded material. I can imagine her booking another Lostboy collab to possibly re-capture some of the Padam Padam success and to extend on that vibe of the album.

I thought they just put the leaked version of Drum on the album but it's actually pretty different. There is extra production all over the song here and there which makes the song even better than it was. One issue I have is that for some reason they removed "I come alive when I come undone, say..." part of the chorus after the second verse for some reason which doesn't flow that well. That's why the song is shorter than the leaked version.

 

I'm glad they put extra effort because they could have easily just added the leaked version to the album instead. Now I kinda want other leaked songs in their final form as well. I know I'm greedy.

DISCO did 3k from streams with the whole week, and Golden 1.8k (and that's with Dancing doing better on streaming than anything on DISCO on week 1).

 

At this point in the week DISCO had 1.4k units from streaming.

At least it is a +50% increase then which is nice I guess, although I admit I would’ve expected her to pull even stronger streams after the success of Padam Padam. Maybe I’m just overestimating the power of streams in the UK though, as 2.1k doesn’t seem that low compared to Olivia’s 6.6k considering she’s massive on streaming.

Her being the 7th most streamed album of the week at least means the album won't collapse when physical sales dry out. Should be another 150k-ish selling album for her at the very least by the end of the era.
