Open that purse, BMG! (And a Kylie on a Mission remix/mashup for ME! because I just know it would slap) WHERE. ARE. THE. REMIXES?!

Really happy for her. She deserves it so much. And tbh, Kiss Me Once is a great album imo. You just need to skip I Just Wanna Cancel. Into The Blue deserved an ocean-themed video tho.
AM98GJ Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Kiss Me Once is the era that got me into her....weirdly just like ARTPOP was for Gaga. so i will never dislike it as much as most of the fanbase but i also don't go back to it
tiagol88 Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Kiss Me Once started with the amazing Into The Blue. The problem is the same as plenty Kylie eras: most b-sides were better than the album tracks. The other problem was that the other single choices just sucked. Terribly mismanaged era tbh. 1

I agree that there is a good album buried somewhere in there but I rarely listen to it (IWGC is an abomination) i’m glad that her team has gotten better at quality control because each of the BMG releases have gotten been better than the previous one, and Tension sounds great
SamanthaJadeFr Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 People saying ''Padam'' rose to #9 this week on the UK singles chart 4

Music-wise tho, I consider Into The Blue one of her best tracks ever, but she should have served Sea-goddess in the video. Something like this, with lighter tones: Million Miles, Sexercise, Les Sex and Mr. President are also very good tracks. But again, it felt quite mismanaged, especially since she wanted to go on a more electro-route with Skirt and Mr. President. In The Name Of Love should have been part of the album and be released as its second single, I genuinely can't believe it's an outtake.
Lachlan Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Kiss Me Once is like 10x better than the mess of a Golden album, let's be real.

I listen to Kiss Me Once quite often and I genuinely like the album. Golden's sound is not my cup of tea I basically never listen to it, minus Every Little Part Of Me and a few other tracks. But, at the same time, I believe Golden's production process allowed her to get back on track and revived her artistic vision and passion for songwriting.
Winged Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 She is no.9 in the UK first top 10 since All the Lovers 12 2

I do enjoy the songwriting on Golden and but the production is so cheap and repetitive that I can't behind the album as a whole.
Simple Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Really loving the success of this, Kylie deserves all the best
