So it’ll have a Timebomb-like peak and probably plummet next week when there’s no sales. Why is everyone acting like this is a Believe/Hung Up moment  I mean I’m happy for her but a bit of a fuss is being made about its performance. I do hope it turns out to be a real hit but I don’t expect anything more than this week

well considering how poorly her singles perform this is an opportunity that she doesn’t always have so it’s nice to try and seize the moment

Because it's actually doing something on streaming, which none of her other singles bar Santa Baby have been able to. It's also getting airplay on Capital, which is unprecedented for a female artist in her 50s. The Believe comparisons are far-fetched (so far), but let's not pretend this isn't already her biggest song in a decade.

I finally heard the extended version and I think the only part I don't like is that weird instrumental break after the first chorus.  But that's the same thing that hurt some of Disco extended mixes. A bridge or additional chorus at the end would have been great too.

Nice that Padam Padam got an extended version, but it's not good.  Why they still do a break after the first chorus? It didn't work with the extended version from Disco as well. It should have been the og + a bridge (even just instrumental), then the chorus one last time. It was right there....
