That would never happen, we'd all be over the moon if it gets placed at even the 50th spot.

Honestly, it's so close to entering most Spotify charts globally that if it gets placed even at number 50 it could probably quadruple its current Spotify entries.

Tension will be her first top 10 album in the US since Fever. The hype is massive and she will have high pure sales and respectable streams.

The snippets are not giving tbh. Title track is probably the best one and maybe the 2nd track but the rest... We'll see

Kylie is bigger than Carly in the US.

Carly's last album debuted at #19 despite being buried by Midnights. Kylie is locked for a top 15 debut. Top 10 depends on luck.

Yes but the competition is immense now too, you need to have at least 35,000 units to even have a shot at going top ten at the moment. That's almost twice the amount Disco sold. I am personally hoping it goes to top 20 and beats Aphrodite at least. It will need to sell 25,000 units for that, and I think that might be possible this time.

Well Kylie wasn't always bigger in the UK than Australia. Her first two albums were much bigger in the UK than Australia, but from that point till the Aphrodite era she was much bigger in Australia. Every single one of her albums besides Let's Get to It is eligible for platinum, and all but 2 (out of 8) are eligible for multi-platinum certifications. She also had 7 number one singles in Australia in that time period, compared to just 3 in the UK.

After 2010 the tables turned, as the Australian GP grew tired of her constantly doing limited promo in Australia and tour programmers there grew annoyed at Australia always being the last stop she played on tours. Consequently, radio support for her back home began to die down while it remained strong in the UK, and as a result she became bigger in the UK compared to Australia again. That has remained the case since then. The present Australian market is also very much geared against domestic artists, as in the entire Australian singles chart there are only 2 Australian hits (Riptide by Vance Joy and Padam Padam).

Thank you very much! Love your knowledge!

It is said that her first two albums are so big in the UK because her show Neighbors was bigger in the UK than in Australia. The wedding episode of Kylie and Jason was a national event in the UK.

Apparently Kylie is out of the top 50 on pop radio in the US and the Impact date is August 1.

Australia doesn't use camp at all. We're all tryhards and worry about looking cool so you'll get the charts full of acoustic crap and hip-hop, and completely bland pop like Taylor & Pink. Anything that veers into gay is not touched by the GP. It's a market dominated by teenagers and their suburban mothers.

wow that's interesting! Thank you very much! Now I understand why Taylor, Morgan, Adele and Ed are so big in Australia. Australian men have fragile masculinity and afraid of being labeled as gay so they ignore campy music/artists.

This song will be a top 40 hit in the US. I put my trust in Kylie's team.
