It has 3x the amount of dates because it has much more demand, understand? Almost half of the show was added after the original announcement Meanwhile some dates of RWT was struggling to sell out, even in the US. If it has the same amount of dates as the Eras half of the stadium will be empty 10 1

For eg Bey had just over 30 dates in the US compared to Taylor who had double the dates, considerably the biggest market for touring. You can't just multiply a gross by 3 because the gross would have changed depending where she was going to add more dates, plus Bey only had US and Europe so you will never know what the number of renaissance would have been adding other continents not sure why they overestimated bey's tour who was still an impressive achievement! They set her up for drama She has 30 dates in US because they were not selling well. All of us remember many dates where there were tons of unsold tickets just a couple day before the date and how they retire it to make it sold out. 3
DevilsRollTheDice Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 This article was an insane set up from the beginning and no serious person thought the Renaissance Tour (while hugely successful) was even in the same universe as the once-in-a-lifetime Eras Tour in terms of demand or impact. Beyonce didn't do more dates because she wanted a sold out tour. In my city there were tickets being sold lower than face value right before the concert. Always fun to see threads like these expose users' delusion, though. 2 5

And they had to cancel Pittsburgh date because it was barely selling any tickets while Taylor broke all time record in the same stadium. 3 1
