discreetinside Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Can't stop cheering for the rookies Ollie and Franco getting points, and both Williams finally getting points for the first time in a while 1
Genius1111 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Lando Norris grabbed a photo with the man behind the 'Hide the Pain Harold' stock photo memes, Andras Arato, who's out in Singapore for a crypto event.
Genius1111 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Lando Twowins on pole in my country! Watch him lose the lead in lap one because he and Max crash.
Genius1111 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Lewis has always qualified in the top 5 in Singapore. ---- Didn't know The Corrs (and the Hungarian meme dude) are in Singapore too!
Konril Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Love his Malicious Compliance. This is why I love him. Give them hell Max!
Jotham Posted September 22 Author Posted September 22 Omg it seems very likely that Daniel is leaving... lemme switch back to my avi of him in memory.
Jotham Posted September 22 Author Posted September 22 (edited) Crazy to think that within a week, we may be witnessing the downfall of Katy and Daniel's careers Come to think of it, their careers parallel each other in a lot of ways: both are millennials who were at some point considered among the most promising of their generation, only to gradually dwindle and get overshadowed by younger peers both, after a major setback, attempted to make a comeback: Katy with 143 and Daniel with VCARB both, during this attempted comeback, sided with someone with allegations in an attempt to save their career: Katy working with Dr. Luke to try making better music, and Daniel defending Christian during his allegations to try getting that Red Bull seat both self-sabotaged themselves during the comeback by trying to cling to the past instead of trying new things and re-inventing themselves: Katy decided to go back to Dr. Luke and make generic pop music while Daniel dropped a Haas offer to go back with Red Bull both had success stans who dropped them after they flopped both have corny senses of humor Edited September 22 by Jotham

Konril Posted September 22 Posted September 22 You'd think the Safety Car is finally deployed in Singapore... but no! Extended vacation!
Genius1111 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 From Lando Nowins to Lando Threewins, the best ever twink driver did that! My old boy Fernando also picked up a few points to consolidate his 9th place in the championship. 12 minutes ago, Konril said: Daniel denying Lando a Grand Chelem. Maxiel forever. Maxiel, the 2nd best F1 bromance ever Bittersweet to see Danny Ric get the fastest lap and DOTD at the end. We may not see him next month.

Genius1111 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 "Fitting that Daniel's last act in F1 was both screwing McLaren and helping Max, describes his career pretty well"
Genius1111 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Kick Sauber finally topping something! Checo being 83 seconds behind Max, yikes!
discreetinside Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Damn to see Daniel holding up his tears during the interview really broke my heart. Really suck to see him gone either after this race or by the latest Abu Dhabi but it is what it is on F1 Daniel need to leave and give the seat to others if he keep underperformed. Didn't watch the race since I was busy at the time and just looking up the stats it's giving 2023 snoozefest over again except it's Lando finished the race with 20 seconds lead over P2. At least this time around he finally kept his lead on Lap 1 from pole so congrats to him. Not sure if I'll watch the race later since I saw many people complaints on social media this being the most boring race of the season. Anyway see y'all next month on Austin COTA.

Konril Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Really hard seeing Daniel on that interview knowing COTA is the next track. He loves Austin and his cowboy persona.
discreetinside Posted September 26 Posted September 26 (edited) We all saw what's coming, but it's still suck to see Danny was not getting proper goodbye retirement sendoff the way he deserved. Anyway welcome back Liam he really deserve the seat objectively speaking. Edited September 27 by discreetinside
Jotham Posted September 27 Author Posted September 27 I was already prepared for him leaving but it still makes me so sad. Really nice to see all the supportive comments on his Instagram post though.
