Then Kimi bins his car in FP1. This poor kid under immense pressure. But he is just 18, he will learn from experience. And Kimi crashed George car with new components (not sure which components) and reached the maximum quota on this season meaning he's on the risk to take grid penalty if his car require to change new components. Fortunately enough Charles are also on the risk of taking grid penalty for similar reason, and we knew Max already taken grid penalty on Belgium so George at least have some buffer on that matter and Mercedes are able to fix his car after the FP1 crash so he managed to take part in FP2 His reaction on the crash are lowkey funny tho 1 hour ago, Konril said: Forza Kimi! Rooting for you! So there's 3 rookies being confirmed next year and the 2 of them are the current F2 Prema boys we love to see it. Hopefully Liam are able to make it as well and we'll see about Sauber/Audi on the pretty much wildcard 2nd seat. Edited August 31 by discreetinside
discreetinside Posted August 31 Posted August 31 McLaren 1-2 are expected given it's a rocketship at this point. We'll see if Lando gonna keep his pole position in Turn 1.

If you're told me this and Redbull flopping hard during the beginning of the season I could laugh your ass off but here we are. The way my first full F1 season following so far are having a lot of twists and turns for both inside and outside the grid
Genius1111 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 NNN, not RBR flopping so much now. Hope the 7 or 8 points Lando gave back won't bite him in his twink @ss at the end.

Genius1111 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Charles winning both his home race and his team's race in the same year, damn!
Genius1111 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 If only we had Carlando 2gether on the podium again...
Jotham Posted September 1 Author Posted September 1 Congrats to Charles K-Mag staying in points despite the 10 sec penalty Danish king Franco getting P12 on his first race... was Logan that bad after all?

Franco did good but Williams as a midfielder does well in Monza. Albon got 7th last year, Russell and Stroll got 9th here, Sirotkin 10th, Latifi got 11th, and Sargeant got 13th. Let's not forget de Vries got 9th here that inflated his resumé to be signed to Alpha Tauri. Nonetheless, great start for Colapinto, hope he continues to have good races so that he can get a seat in the future.
Genius1111 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 MaxCharles look so sweet here, but they are STRAIGHT! 2
Genius1111 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 10 points more for Lando would have made the WDC more a little more interesting. It's still Max's to lose. Now for the WCC, McLaren is just 8 points behind RBR now, and Ferrari has also just passed 400 points, so there is a great chance that RBR may actually finish 3rd this year despite what happened in the first few races.
Genius1111 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 (edited) Interesting choice of words from a guy who is still 62 points ahead with 8 race weekends to go. He needs to make the move to Merc immediately. Kimi won't be ready for a WDC fight for a few years and Merc will nail the 2026 engine. I've seen enough sinking ships in F1 to know that Redbull won't be back in contention for a long time. With what's happened since Miami, and the rumors Redbull is struggling with PU development, they may be a midfield team for a long time. RBR went from their Teenage Dream era to Witness era in just 6 months. Edited September 1 by Genius1111

We all never expected the Redbull downfall happen so quickly and hard Too bad Max is gonna stuck at Redbull for another season because the 2nd Mercedes seat has been filled by Kimi Antonelli despite the FP1 crash in Monza
discreetinside Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Anyway Ollie Bearman 2nd F1 race is coming with KMag received one race ban for Baku

The whole team has gone to ****, unfortunately. The funniest plot twist is that in mid 2025, it's not RBR who fires Perez, but Perez heading elsewhere on his own accord. High chance that the line-up in 2026 will have two different drivers. 1
