HAIZSLAIZ Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 This was a standout to me when I listened to the album last week. The whole album is incredible though! 3
stevenisFADING Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 I don’t really love anything from this album so far. Lmao. This one might be my least favorite. I hated Formation and this is even worse. Eat the Acid is my favorite so far I guess but even then it’s missing something.
$ebert Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 The writing machine sounds are genius. the hook is very catchy
cyclone Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 (edited) The second verse sounds like she just gave up while recording to me, the lyrics and not even talking/rapping on beat smh it gives unpolished demo but ONLYYYY LAUVVV CAN SAVE US NAOWWW The outro is soo good.. Edited May 17, 2023 by cyclone

Pitchfork agrees Quote Tonally and spiritually, Gag Order recalls another album made by a pop star in the wake of a high-profile conflict with a powerful industry antagonist. The old Kesha can’t come to the phone right now, etc. 1
aesthetic bih Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Didn't expect a huge bop after Fine Line / Eat the Acid but we love it! 1
Mr. Duff Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 It’s like a newer Cannibal Kesha song, I do like it. The chorus is kimda a letdown though. The verses are amazing.
Miles. Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Could've been good with a bridge and a final chorus. Sounds unfinished as is.
wish Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 This is sooo Crazy Kids My fave single this era, haven't heard the album yet

Seems like they woke up.
CroNich Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 I kinda love it, I kinda don’t. It’s definitely not a traditional music video by any means but it feels very arty in (mostly) a good way, and at least we can say this era is cohesive. I do just think the scenes with all the random people feel cheap and a bit corny.

I loved these so much It's like she transformed her hurt into art and she became art piece in a gallery with the voyeurism around her. The visuals this era are truly on another level and I love how everything is linked.
