Sonically, Tonight, though it is WAY less of a clusterfuck and actually well produced. Verses remind me of Ready For It.../Natalia Kills. Chorus harkens back to something you'd hear between Warrior and Rainbow if she had an album cycle during that time.

f*ck yeah, right up my alley then

I appreciate Tonight for what she was trying to do, but it’s always been a skip for me BUT I’ve always felt like she could’ve executed that sort of vibe way better. between Warrior and Rainbow? that would’ve been such a moment! gahhh can’t wait for 8.5 hours, I’m gonna love this for sure

okay but we NEED to talk about the mixing and mastering, cause it was already suspicious with the double lead but this sounds SO damn muffled.

I know its probably intentional for texture and whatever, and it works in the verses but the chorus sounds like a bad radio rip.

If you're hearing on YouTube everything sounds like trash. I honestly don't get any of the mixing complaints this era because the Dolby Atmos mixes sound so good and clear.

If I'm correct (since the quality of the intro is very bad :dancehall:) a man says:
Sometimes you think you're doing magic
Sometimes you realise magic is doing you

and few other words

she just repurposed this sample and put it at the beginning of happy. it's not removed.

11/10.
This + EAT and Fine Line are on top 10 of her discography tbh. I have huge expectations on this album!

Such a fantastic song, another 10/10 for this album :clap3:

I love the type-writer beat, the melodies and the explosiveness of the song :WAP: She did not come to play with this album, I am so excited for Friday

Again it’s only the first verse where the mixing is a little clunky, the rest of the song is fine. Definitely better than eta.

I’m 💯 % convince Kesha is NOT sign to a major label. I wouldn’t believe that any label would let her release anything she’s released this year unless they secretly wanted her to bomb to get dropped from that label.

So disappointed. I will always stream her first four projects.

The ones that don’t like her new sound, I’m so sorry you don’t have taste.

:rip: Not all major label acts exist to make radio music.

See you on the other side of 80 on Metacritic!
