The intro wouldn't have worked. Edited May 16, 2023 by bearman 1

Probably the presence of the writing machine sound can make the song more "crowded" and chaotic (the demo doesn't have it), but on the other hand, the guitar enforces the chorus (the demo is without guitar). 5 minutes ago, sam.teas said: If I'm correct (since the quality of the intro is very bad ) a man says: Sometimes you think you're doing magic Sometimes you realise magic is doing you and few other words Ah thanks for the info! Seems like the “sometimes you think you’re doing magic” part now appears in Happy instead, at least based on what was written in the Rolling Stone article Quote Oberon Zell, an 80-year-old wizard she met while making her podcast Kesha and the Creepies, appears on the last song, “Happy,” proclaiming: “Sometimes, you think you’re doing the magic, and sometimes you realize the magic is doing you.” 1

Like the “magic” thing doesn’t really fit OLCSUN me thinks 1
Superbitch Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 I looks for it in the d place but couldn’t find it
Junlin Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 interesting is this her formation? i might need more time with it
Europe Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Wow, this is HORRIBLE. The vocals in the verses are way too rough and the chorus is too loud and chaotic sounding. Really worried about the album's quality at this point. 4
josesuxx Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 I don't know if I should listen when it drops tonight or wait to hear it with the whole album
AlbertoBouvier Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 ******* LOVED THIS ONE. Hope it comes with an amazing mv tomorrow. 2
stevenisFADING Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 this l worded or it's out officially in other countries?

K$Ellie Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 verses are fun and the longer chorus at the end is good on its own but i don't think the song works as a whole
Nashe Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 the chorus is very 2012-2013, I don't like it. while the verses were very promising.... disappointed
gettsleazy Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 I think this one is going to polarize people. It certainly achieves what High Road set out to accomplish, and I think it does it well. 2

I think Eat the Acid and Fine Line already sorted out the people who aren't here for a more experimental Kesha record tbh. If anything, this is way more accessible. 1

The people checking for this album are people that are invested in its sound and angle because they "got" the A/B lead. 14 minutes ago, JoeAg said: oh I’m definitely gonna like it then! which song on High Road would you compare it to first? Sonically, Tonight, though it is WAY less of a clusterfuck and actually well produced. Verses remind me of Ready For It.../Natalia Kills. Chorus harkens back to something you'd hear between Warrior and Rainbow if she had an album cycle during that time. Edited May 16, 2023 by gettsleazy 1
