I don’t think the song is bad at all but it did kill the momentum.

She should have just left this as an album track & came with another dance track.

It’s summer her team couldn’t possibly think this would do anything?

This wasn't the best single choice IMO. I hope she drops something else soon

If she drops a new single quick we can just act like this is a promo. The song is fine but anyone acting like it has hit potential is delusional

we're getting the new joel corry in a few weeks so y'all can breathe lol

Album is def not coming this year at all, she doesn't even have a title for it yet and still is figuring out some stuff:rip:

Joel Corry song + 2 new singles are def coming. I'm expecting the album for Q2 2024 the earliest

Considering the So Good era started in 2015 (for the album release in 2017) and Poster Girl started in 2018 (for the album release in 2021) a 2024 release pretty much fits her usual standard - actually it'll be earlier than expected

That only happened because both albums campaigns were derailed due to a single underperforming after having a smash lead

It looks like the original version (3:03) was replaced by extended version (3:29)

This girl has learned nothing since her first rollout. She & her team keep making the same mistakes , the same lack of ear for hits....

Zara about upcoming album
I’d say it’s more dynamic than ‘Poster Girl’. There are more upbeat songs, but also more ballads. It’s a little more like ‘So Good’ in that sense, which is honestly just very me, eclectic and a little all over the place. The red thread is the drum sounds, my voice and the quality of the songs. But I like to be a little here and there, I’m not super tied to one sound or concept. That’s why I love Rihanna so much, she can do whatever she wants, dance, pop, R&B, reggae. She’s definitely an inspiration when it comes to what my next record is going to sound like.

Rick Nowels told her to make it a collection of good songs. Her album is currently untitled but due later this year.

"This album is still pop, but it has an element of stillness to it as well. There’s definitely songs on there that are very raw and that feel a bit naked. And this album is a bit more dynamic – there’s songs with a hard-hitting bass, like club bangers, but also songs that are just piano and a vocal track. So I think it’s a little bit more daring in not being one thing, which is honestly very me. I think it’s personal and relatable, and I wouldn’t say it’s a concept album at all. Me and Rick, we’ve had a lot of talks about this, and he’s like, ‘I just think it should be a collection of really good songs.’ The common thread is that it’s me and my voice. On a lot of the songs, I’m really singing a lot more.”
