discussion Artists that performed in ‘obscure’ countries?

I mean no offense with the word ‘obscure’ lol. It’s just that every time artists go on tour or have one-off performances those are most commonly set in the USA, Canada, Western European countries and maybe Japan.
Artists may or may not also tour Aus&NZ, Eastern Europe and South America or South Africa, however on various instances they would add a tour stop that is not common at all, like Beyonce performed in Ethiopia, Chris Brown in Ivory Coast, Madonna in Montenegro, JLo in Turkmenistan or Michael Jackson in Brunei. What are the other examples of this ‘phenomena’?

Not an obscure place but I remember when Bieber performed in Iceland and it was reported that 12% of the total population attended the shows  according to the same article Justin Timberlake was the only other "superstar" to perform there

Avril - Slovakia, Luxembourg, Newcastle (Australia), Taiwan, Macau, Sicily, Turkey, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, lots of Chinese cities outside of Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, random towns in Canada

Coldplay did Iceland in 2001 and 2002 plus Czech Republic in 2011. They apparently will be visiting Indonesia and Malaysia on this tour too. I wouldn't say those countries are "obscure" but definitely not a common touring fixture.

I think Slovakia also gets a fair share of artists, ofc not the amount that some other countries in Europe do, but Beyonce, Kylie Minogue, Imagine Dragons and infamously Nicki Minaj have all perfomed there.

Gaga performed in less toured European countries such as Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Finland and LatAm countries like Peru, Paraguay, Costa Rica as part of the BTW Ball Tour.

 

Also, Croatia and Hungary for The Monster Ball Tour and Malta and Macau for the Fame Ball Tour.
