Late night talk shows will be going dark as the WGA fights for a fair deal. SNL and other weekly shows likely will go dark as well.

Didn’t this already happen once years ago??

OT: I hope this doesn’t affect my precious precious Marvel shows, Euphoria 3, PLL reboot, Handmaid’s Tale’s upcoming seasons, AHS, etc. :monkey:

These seem like the four talk shows getting affected.

+ SNL, Last Week Tonight, Real Time, in the short term plus anything scripted in production that hasn't been written.

Time to bring back letterman and other guys who use to write their own stuff

Oop good luck studios, you’re gonna need it

Treat and pay your writers right ffs

Power to them for striking :clap3:

Bring on the wave of cheap reality television :alexz:

Writers need to do this because streaming has changed everything. I feel bad for all the production workers, my dad worked at WB the last time and those months were scary, but I blame the studios not the writers.

Omg the receptionist at my medspa told me this last week when I was getting botox and for some reason I didn’t believe him

Colbert can impromt live. And most of them are doing this out of principles for their writers, since most of them started as writers themselves.

yes it happened years ago and TV suffered majorly because of it

Lost had its worst and shortest season because of it

Hopefully writers get what they want. They’re the backbone of the industry and deserve better.

This takes me back to 07/08 when Supernatural S3 was reduced from 22 episodes to 16. But what a banger of a season!

Sad.

Although, no offense some of these shows yall listing are already pretty tired and forced; won't affect em that much lol.

Ugh the last one ruined almost every tv show from that time

Hopefully it doesn't go on for too long, **** greedy studios

Euphoria 3

You don't have to worry about this one, it was gonna be a mess even if there wasn't a strike. :rip:

OT: Hopefully the writers will prevail. :clap3:

Maybe it’s time to stop paying actors and celebrities exorbitant amounts of money for contributing arguably the same amount as anyone else on the set does

fantastic :clap3:
