if it somehow manages to get enough points for the top 50 and re-renters, charts for a week or more and then start decreasing below top 50, would it immediately go recurrent or does it keep on charting in the bottom half until falling out of the top 100?

Goes recurrent again if its below 50.

I'm 95% sure

is CUPID in contention for the top 10 next week?

No, but it is predicted to enter the Top 40:

Geez, Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen are absolutely killing it. Two Nashville superstars!

What was the point in letting Something in the Orange continue charting? It didn't go back into the Top 25.

Cupid would have been Top 40 without this bs

Probably because it is still 'gaining marginally' on country radio, but I think they need to make a decision on whether to push this one or to just let it go. It would be pretty ridiculous to let this one chart for 70+ weeks, while it remains in the 25-27 range of country radio.

If Jack Harlow album bombs next week and it impacts high they better not leave it on

Jack Harlow doing what now.

His album is predicted for 40-50k and he currently has 1 song in the top 80 of US Apple Music

I dont think he will have a single song top 30.

Songs that are still gaining are left on. They always have been :celestial5:

Not to be annoying but neither are from Nashville lol.

I wonder if EBS can reach #1. I don't like Peso Pluma but I kinda dig the song.

Kiiii at Anti-Hero sneaking back in because of Drake falling out :ahh:

We knew Princess Diana would fall out of the Top 10 but Anti-Hero sneaking back in because of Drake falling out is hilarious :ahh:

I forgot Drake dropped. That song really came and went. It was horrible anyway, but his drops usually stick around longer and make more noise than that.

What happened to Jack Harlow to make him flops hard?

Last album turned off alot of people, Industry Baby and First Class fans probably not liking the more soulful sample beats on the new one

Oh, so sad for Jack. It seems like an album with no strategy release and with no mainstream hip hop sound as you said.

Jack has no fanbase… Just some casual GP listeners..

His peer NF just debuted with 120k last month despite being invisible in the mainstream scene while Jack is struggling to clear 50k with this album…

(NF is the cuter one between the two for me too):gaycat2:

The Last Night slayage… is it now the biggest country crossover hit since Breathe?

Posted

How many songs does Morgan currently have charting?

I count 11. What’s the precedent for something like this 8 weeks out from the album release?

That depends on how you define biggest "crossover." Need You Now peaked higher than LN at T40, HAC, AC & Dance Mixplay stations, #1-#3 but didn't begin to really gain mainstream radio until after NYN had peaked at Country. This was true for Breathe & Amazed too. LN already climbing at mainstream radio while still rising at Country is much less common.

The last song to climb Country & mainstream at the same time is probably 1983s Islands In The Stream. It was #1 on the Hot 100 & Country chart (then airplay only) the same 2 weeks. IITS also simultaneously climbed AC. Even You're Still The One had a slight delay before it crossed over. Body Like A Back Road had a slight delay too.

That being said, even with top tier sales & streaming metrics I don't know how much further LN can grow at mainstream radio. The fact its this big without any remixes for airplay, downloads or streams is quite remarkable. And its possible Wallen moves on to a new single soon to boost the album instead of continued LN promotion.

Isn’t this Last Nights 4th week at #1? Why does the thread title say 3??
