I can see how it could be offensive to said people, but I do not think it is done in bad faith.

Bad faith is not a necessary criteria to determine wrongdoing :priceless:

its so funny how the girls are quick to pull out

the "world doesn't revolve around America."

excuse but in the same breath try to make

grown adults seem innocently ignorant

for blatantly anti-black behavior.

since when does someone's lack of basic

human decency depend on this false

idea that they know next to nothing

about the United States or racism :rip:

Central Europe does not have the same history of blackface as the US. That doesn't mean it's ok (especially given how racist CE is), but this hardly comes as a shock.

Isn't Poland quite behind when I comes to racism? Their treatment of refugees is disappointing but not surprised.

Also you can play a black singer and not do blackface :rip:

Not just racism. Everything about this country is tapped :rip:

Do you think internet is exclusively American or something? You do realise that other countries have their own internet cultures, right? Why would you be researching something you don't know is offensive?

There's a yearly discourse around Piet in the netherlands and belgium, of course a country has much less debate about this (i'd say it's close to none in poland) is going to be even more behind on this issue. I can even remember when the discourse started to really take off in germany and that's not too long ago either.
