MingYouToo Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Every Breath You Take is such a scary song lyrically but sonically whew what a drive down the beach slash sex bop!
Zaram Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Im surprised about candle in the wind. It feels like one of the most known songs

vale9001 Posted April 29, 2023 Author Posted April 29, 2023 (edited) Happy is probably the most disappointing if you think it's recent and it was soooooo big. The Black eyed peas terrible music from 2008- 2010 year i see is really forgotten. Gaga great cults should be #1, they stolen it. But at the same time it's a good sign of how terrible most of pop music was at the time, so makes sense i guess. Edited April 29, 2023 by vale9001

jdanton2 Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 there are alot of years missing . does that mean their streams were lower than what is listed ?
Xder Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Lil nas x, Beyonce, Black eyed peas (IGF should be #1) bombing

chaklux Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Irreplaceable didn’t translate well to streaming. In da club is so impressive. RITD is an immortal hit, so impressive

RITD is an immortal hit, so impressive it's not that bad in my opinion, it wasn't so global as other hits in the list. Also the only pop hit in the list from 2000 to 2009 The others songs are r'n'b (Yeah) (Mariah), hip hop (in da club) and (pop) rock (nickelback). I don't remember Low by Flo rida. I guess it's a pop- hip hop song?. Edited April 29, 2023 by vale9001

Into The Void Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Well this is quite interesting how some very old songs do so well.
vale9001 Posted April 29, 2023 Author Posted April 29, 2023 (edited) Old town road has another version doing almost the same (270K daily) (and others several remixes as you know). The song officially number one on the HOT 100 year end chart is Old town road remix (it's the version with Cyrus father), so the list reports that. But the song has a really particular situation. With all the versions it makes 702K daily. Almost every song in this list has remixes of course, but this is the only case where a remix makes almost like the other version. It's also interesting how Macklemore is here with Thrift Shop (532k) but Can't hold us is almost 3x times bigger right now (1.3M daily). Edited April 29, 2023 by vale9001

Armani? Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 What was the point of not combining the 2 versions of OTR
Reverse Warholian Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 (edited) You should post US streams for a US list Edited April 29, 2023 by Reverse Warholian
Armani? Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 End of The Road only doing 130k daily globally but still 3X Platinum eligible in the US without pure sales before 2001 & just got certified Platinum in the UK
