The vinyl cover is so beautiful that should have just been the album cover tbh. 

 

As for the genre/style changes I don't think she's selling out these songs aren't exactly geared towards mainstream audiences even if they are less out there than her other music. Float is definitely better than lipstick lover but it's still a cute summer song and there's still a whole album hear. Janelle is never going to outdo her first two albums, she had nothing to improve upon with those records that's why her output since seems disappointing it isn't bad it's just she peaked very early in her career. Dirty Computer was still a great album and I'm sure this one will be too.
