I don't see why many artists would opt out of it, it often pulls in new listeners and an increase in streaming/sales to your overall discography. I was definitely thinking of Taylor while writing this... I recall her doing this before. I wonder if she would allow a Super Bowl performance to be streamed for free? Interesting to think about. The Super Bowl is live on network tv and the performance gets uploaded on YouTube minutes after it's aired. Coachella is a private event basically, so the fact that it's livestreamed at all is a perk, although it's the case for most festivals nowadays. They should just make it mandatory, it's a part of the deal. Anyway, he's ******* annoying, and I'm a lifetime stan. I truly hate artist who make it so difficult for us to enjoy their art. This is the very least he could've done after all the stuff he pulls like dropping out of things, not releasing music, etc. It's so tiring.
