HALSEY PARTS WAYS WITH CAPITOL

After eight years with Astralwerks/Capitol, HITS can confirm that the star will be leaving the label.

 

In a statement to HITS, a Capitol spokesman said: "Everyone at Capitol poured their hearts and souls into helping Halsey achieve their dreams and present their music to the world. We are incredibly proud of all we accomplished together, and wish Halsey the very best in all their future endeavors."

Halsey can still get hits, she'd be able to sign to anyone and this isn't shade because I like Katy but come on. It's best she stays at Capitol who cares about her, because another major label wouldn't put up with her if she flops they would drop her. Capitol won't drop her.

She's obviously going to Republic. Interscope doesn't do payola which Capitol did a ton of for her

I think the complete floppage of that one single that she pretended the label was holding her back from releasing injured their relationship. No album or proper follow-up single has been released and it's been a year.
