Gossip_Boy Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Disney deserves the floppage for not giving the far superior Turning Red a proper theatrical release instead idc.
unclefloprry Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Lightyear tanking just bc it has a 3 seconds gay kiss is…
Broken Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 BOX OFFICE POISON MARGOT ROBBIE. All her post I Tonya movies have FLOPPED, except James Corden's Peter Rabbit 1 & 2. Congrats!!!
Heartbreak Prince Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Strange World was really good, but it was thrown out with zero promo.

XAMJ Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Disney also had some of the highest grossing, not all bad at Disney

TheGerm Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 wait lemme give these gay ones a stream for the cause
Roberto Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Maybe Margot will finally break the cursee this time. Spoiler Or maybe not.
Aethereal Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Babylon was such a bomb with so many A-list actors. Wohoo.
D/X Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Lightyear was actually really good, it's sad that Pixar bombed... tbh, i never really thought it was because of the lesbian character but it kinda feels the backlash really impacted the film... Disney let Strange World sink into oblivion with lack of marketing, but one does wonder if the LGBT lead after the Lightyear reactions influenced that decision. Two Margot-lead films is not a good look, but she'll be fine when Barbie becomes a blockbuster later this year.
The Next Day Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 I still haven't seen Babylon despite being a huge Chazelle fan. Something about the marketing and the long runtime turned me off. I'm sure he'll go back to smaller projects again and consequentially serve another Whiplash-sized hit
