Since it’s starting to do better at radio, I wonder if the rumored plans of new music is going to be slightly delayed.

I honestly think they should go all out with the streaming push and get this Top 40 peak before moving on! Like how has it not even gotten on any playlists since the start of its radio push…

Seems like this is going to get a cute Top 10 peak on Pop radio. This era is Miley's most successful on radio since Bangerz, so she's doing something right even if she gave up on the era lol

Insane that this wasn't pushed on streaming and Tiktok despite resonating so well with airplay audiences, I'll never understand what Columbia tried to do here. 

 

It'll be interesting to see how her team will handle Used to be Young, maybe Columbia just wanted to secure her presence on pop radio for the real thing...or maybe they'll handle it even worse than Jaded.

What went right is Jaded being one of her best singles and Flowers being the juggernaut that it was. Imagine if she put in the work and refined the album (replacing the likes of Muddy Feet)

It's cute but the album version clears it I fear. The ending of that second verse HITS on the album. And the bridge is much better.

I'm happy it held up on radio, It just got really hard to root for this song when it became clear that this wasn't getting playlisted. I will NEVER understand the lack of playlist push

 

But anyway, I wonder if this will stay afloat until UTBY arrives later this month

I don't know what it's going on with Columbia, they usually are on point with their singles treatment. It doesn't help that Miley lowkey hates the song either, the fact she tried to sabotage the song by mocking it with the music video.

Maybe they’ve finally decided to move on from Flowers. Flowers was the correct lead single choice but it hurt everything afterward. Hoping Jaded can finally get its flowers

Sad bacause Jaded was a really good song and with the right playlists it could have been a cute top 20 hit.
