Remove (website) sales by those living outside the US as well as those that already purchased the song before.

Why didn’t they filter the sales in the first week?

I think Billboard having a new rules:

Using the same emails/the same IP address and / or the same credit card to buy the same song on the 2nd week of tracking are not allowed and will get filters.

so people who already buy on the first week will not be count for Billboard on the 2nd week if they buying again using the same emails/same IP address / same credit card :cm:

I hope Billboard makes it harder for the bots to cheat

Imagine wasting all that money only for "their boy" to not break a free fall record and now they won't count those fake sales :sistrens:

And this is exactly why billboard needs to change the rules. These frontloaded songs debuting at number 1 takes away all credibility to this chart. No song should be number one if it’s not memorable. I won’t take back what I said. Album cuts should not be allowed to chart no more. Streams need to be reduced or more rules need implemented. Sales need to be determined differently. As much as people hate radio, it is the most accurate way to determine how popular a song is. If you hear a song over and over, it’s going to be remembered. And radio is used a lot. At businesses, older generations use it alot, events may use it. The only thing I’ll add is that radio needs to play songs that are charting and not what record labels pay them. Look between 1950-2000s. All the songs that charted high were popular because everyone knew them. They had radio play, music videos played alot, and people bought copies. A number one was literally the most popular song that week. This song is less known than kill bill, flowers, hell even songs like Bloody Mary, nonsense, and special. It just makes this chart look ridiculous and fraudulent.

This is more humiliating that something they should proud of. And Billboard's reputation ended with BTS. I'm so done with the chart.

We’re still waiting :deadvision:

When will the BTS stans realize that fund raising is not sustainable especially if they funnelling money over a song that doesn't show potential of being a US hit

They should've waited a few weeks to see if US will "bite" the song and use the fund raising to leverage its rising popularity.

Peaks are not everything and hitting #1 and then falling off to barely Top 30 is EMBARRASSING.

He’s #1 on the digital sales chart with 14.8k. He definitely broke the record :deadvision:

Amazingly, the success of "Like Crazy" doesn't even tell the full story of Jimin's reign atop the Digital Song Sales chart. Before his current champion debuted, he still ruled the ranking. Two frames ago, Jimin's other cut, "Set Me Free Pt. 2," opened in first place. It was then quickly replaced by "Like Crazy." This week, "Set Me Free Pt. 2" is down at No. 35 on the ranking, holding on for a third consecutive turn, selling another 1,800 copies.

the absolute fraud of it all :bibliahh: the other song only selling 1,800 copies because all the funds when to free fall like crazy :bibliahh:
