Taylor fanboy Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Led by four acclaimed actors. Directed by acclaimed directors. All inspired by existing fictional characters prior theatrical releases. Which film is more exciting?
JohnWayneHolland Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 I think it depends on each person's taste, and also the Barbie movie already has a trailer and its premier is closer, so i would expect it to have more hype. Personally i feel more excited for JFAD for obvious reasons.
OreGuy Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Both from legendary casts and directors Will watch both first day.
Orsay Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Gaga and Margot both queens, can't wait for both But yea, JFAD is so far away still in comparison
poki Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Joker >> I found out Barbie won't have THE song by the legendary Aqua and that really ruined my hype
Dula Peep Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Umm obvs the sequel to the biggest rated R film of all time?
Margaux Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 i kinda feel like margot will ruin barbie becoz of her hammy acting. actors looked old. they should’ve casted teenagers or something.
Donquizote Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 JFAD of course. I'm afraid Barbie will be a PANNED mess.
Jude Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Weird comparison especially that there's like one a half year gap in their release dates.
Hephaestus Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Barbie’s a cute girl, but cute next to gorgeous… Cute is gonna get devoured
Gabers05 Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Looking forward to both Barbie looks interesting and excited to see what Gaga does as Harley
Solaria Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 I'm excited for both I love seeing my faves on the big screen
duybeeGAshantiGA Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 You cant compare hype/excitement of 2 movies that are 1.5 years apart i feel like Barbie will be panned hard after watching the trailer tho.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 I think Barbie is gonna be a way different movie than the general public expects. People are going in for a Campy Blockbuster, but apparently it’s not that. So I’m curious how critics and viewers are gonna react to it. Joker 2 seems like it’s staying true to the first one. Just a more social commentary on Mental illness and Toxic relationships. The Musical aspect may gain it more critical acclaim with Gaga starring. But I am not sure if it will be as groundbreaking as the first film. Gonna have to see a trailer.
KnightOfAllRealms Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Only chronically online are excited for Barbie, it'll flop in real life. While Joker is loved by GP and will be an all time blockbuster 2
Desire Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Such a weird comparison when both films are getting released in separate years but here's that attention you requested And I guess to answer: both, as both are completely different movies.
