this past week reports of A.I like ChatGtp have become the standard in the mainstream workplace. 300 Million Jobs may be effected by this new technology before the year ends.

The dystopian fantasies some people have.  Chat GPT etc are not intelligent or dangerous, they’re literally just programs doing what theyre meant to do (answer questions and do tasks based on what’s available on searching machines). Hardly anything new.

the thing is …… there’s a lot of people saying “AI is fine it’s nothing to be afraid of” and also a lot of people saying “shut this $h!t down NOW or we are all done” …… it’s hard to know what to believe

 

in my personal opinion , i think advanced AI is gonna end up being a mistake in the end ….. i guess we’ll find out soon enough
