Pop Art Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 This whole thing reeks of the dairy industry actually trying to be deceptive by forcing non-dairy milks to be renamed to something other than milk so unwitting consumers will just stick to or go back to dairy milk. Instead of evolving with the times and expanding into the non-dairy realm, they're resorting to these cringy measures to save their diminishing industry. 14 minutes ago, midnightdawn said: Milk is a white liquid food produced by the mammary glands of mammals. "Butter is a dairy product made from the fat and protein components of churned cream" and yet no one seems to be deceived by peanut butter, which is even more "deceptive" under this logic since its general use and flavor profile is far more different than dairy versus non-dairy milk.
