This looks like it’s going to be their most basic film yet. But it’ll do for a Saturday night movie time.

They said that? The trailer is actually unusually basic for them.

Yeah they posted a teaser on IG yesterday with the caption “Scariest A24 trailer ever, hands down.” I get the pun but that’s a very bold claim :deadbanana4:

And I definitely agree it’s very basic and generic coming from A24.

I already saw this at a screening and it's basic af. It's a hand that let's you talk to dead people and they posses you. Boring ass concept. It screams straight to streaming . See cobwebs instead with lizzy Caplan if you want a QUALITY horror film. It will stay in your brain for a week!

It was like a tubi exclusive movie quality wise :gaycat2: We shall see what the people who comment underneath us think. I expect many lukewarm responses after they actually watch this meh film.

Did you really like it that much? What was so special about it exactly? And how did you get access to see it? I saw it at mystery movie Monday at my local regal theater like 2 weeks ago

Spoiler

it’s not happy at all. the main character gets possessed and almost kills one of her friends by rolling their wheelchair into traffic, snaps out of it last minute and sacrifices herself by throwing herself in front of a car. we think she survived because she wakes up in a hospital but realize she is dead when she is on the other end of the hand, posessing someone using it the same way she did.

Just got back from watching this and I had a great time! I wish the final act was a little tighter though.

That scene though! That's peak A24! Looking forward to rewatching it on VOD :duca:
