He can be the best judge in the world and do these things, but again, you have to have a professional appearance which includes social media presence. You just can't film it and expect zero consequences. This is the real world, and not Twitter, Tumblr, ATRL, etc etc. Look at what happened to the two news anchors that were caught JUST cheating with each other a few months ago.

This is absolutely correct. I just don't get why having sex equals not being professional as if it's not a human need. That's why I'm asking what would happen if he was having vanilla sex on a leaked video meant for private use. Is it the fact that he was filming in the first place the biggest foul? Therefore one could assume that a person who is filming their most private moments must not be the most rational? If it's that then yeah, to each their own.

You can get placed on the sex offenders list for having sex in public spaces.

Why are people here pretending they don't understand this decision?

I'm sorry, but firing a JUDGE for this is totally reasonable.

He'll be fine tho :rip: he'll probably make even more OF bank now with all this clout :deadbanana2:

The problem is it’s not long term. Had he been a judge, he would still be making a stable income ten, twenty years from now. He would have a retirement benefit, and don’t forget the fact that he would have much cheaper healthcare costs through his job. The thing with porn is. You’re hot for a period of time, then you get phased out. There’s tons of porn actors. Only a tiny amount can afford a living decades after.

This thread is just exposing what's wrong with most of us gays.

He should be locked up, truthfully.

where in the news article did they mention he was fired for posting "public sex?" it's only linking the fact that he has a side hustle of doing onlyfans with him being fired. of course i understand the extent of sexual activities the courts deem impermissible (i'm not interested in arguing about morality; homosex was illegal decades ago). i don't support the shaming of doing sex work while having a "morally conscious[sic]" job. and i do not support them for firing him for simply having an onlyfans. it's as easy as that. i'm not here to argue with you or your mom about whether having sex in public spaces is moral or not.

He seems happy with his decision. Nothing wrong with that. :michael:

Literally scroll through the media tab on his Twitter.  It’s not that hard to find.

Lol so if I’ve ever had sex behind closed doors in my private life I need to now support each and every adult who films their kink filled sex and shares it with the world on a public platform…

ur literally insane

Have you ever jerked off to porn?

My opinion is that I have no issues with a lawyer, a judge, a person of influence whatsoever doing porn while exercising their functions. How does that affect their daily job? Everyone has sex; what's the problem with filming it? Everybody consumes porn, so what the hell is the issue at hand really other than pure shock factor and issues that have no real impact at hand?

Granted, my question was out of place, but I was just being facetious.

If he wasn't violating any laws or harming anyone then it really shouldn't matter what he does outside of his work life. Some of the responses in here... :doc:

Also, not y'all agreeing with him being fired just for having an OF. That has nothing to do with his former job.

The issue here is if he's overseeing certain cases, especially those of sexual nature, someone's lawyer can bring up the judge's sexual profile and it can impede the whole process.

Don't we all have our biases? Doesn't mean that you cannot dissociate your personal life with your working life, that's litterally what being professional means.

Either way, I understand the concern but I really think it's mostly based on puritanical values.

He can probably make more from OF than he did as a judge, especially with this promo :michael:

This is the illegal stuff he was doing and posting publicly for those claiming he wasn't doing anything wrong.  I don't think any employer in the public or private sector would allow this.
