It’s the first song on Midnights :rip:

It struggled to even get into the top 10, I tracked its radio performance daily…and then conveniently suddenly started surging enormously.

The blatant payola :rip:

How did it struggle? It was stable and rising in the top 20 for a while. This alleged impetuous surge you speak of never happened.

Do I really need to go through the Lavender Haze thread in the Music forum to show you? You can easily go look through the pages yourself.

Then why didn't it freefall after reaching the top 10?

“Surging enormously” = +28 spins

Has this even gained more than 100 spins in a day? This song took like 3 months to enter the top 10 on Overall Radio, it’s an organic hit.

it's the best uptempo 'pop' song on the album by far so Taylor PLEASE PAYOLA IT MORE, needs to smash hard :clap3:

ikr, I don't understand why people are calling songs like DFY and Lavender Haze payola, when they are stable for months on radio and streaming. If people want to talk about a payola driven song, nonsense by Sabrina Carpenter totally fell off on streaming after its autoplay was removed.

I see you’re still bitter you claimed the song was done on radio a few moths ago. Song climbs quickly = payola. Song climbs slowly = also payola, I guess

The club remix is better.....she should had made that the official single version and featured a rap girl on it, but that still may happen if the song has a chance at #1 :snowman:

Lavender Haze's run on pop radio clearly indicates payola:

48-43-37-34-30-29-24-18-15-15-15-14-14-11-12-12-11-10-8-7-7-6(-5)

just look at all of those massive position vaults, and so quickly, too :biblio:

This has payola written all over it. Never seen such a suspicious chart run :eli:

Y'all REALLY need to learn how to check your facts before you talk

Feb 6: #12 +15 spins

Feb 7: #12 +21 spins

Feb 8: #12 +9 spins

Feb 9: #12 -24 spins

Feb 10: #12 +65 spins

Feb 11: #11 +88 spins

Feb 12: #11 +48 spins

Feb 13: #11 +71 spins

Feb 14: #11 +82 spins

Feb 15: #11 +190 spins

Feb 16: #10 +142 spins

Feb 17: #10 +83 spins

Feb 18: #10 +24 spins

Feb 19: #10 +119 spins

Sudden massive surge before entering the top 10 isn't majorly suspect? Right
