Wonder if she is going to release an album this year or just a couple of singles to include them on the tour

Let’s just hope it’s not another Rebel Heart demos fiasco…. Or worst like Diplo messy tracks….

I am really intrigued. No shade to Mirwais because he's given her many of her best songs but sometimes his production can sound muddy. I am interested in hearing 2023 Madge on a very clean, expensive sounding instrumental.

I need a bop from them.

There's potential in this, so I'm gonna hope for the best :dancehall:

Max just released dawn fm and 2beloved which were excellent production. Special was good. His latest stuff with pink sucked but tbh pink has sucked for several years now.

Pinks raise your glass is legit playing in the cafe I’m in while reading this and it made me realise her music has evolved very little LOL

How?  Madonna's always been hands on in the studio and her songs mostly turn out great. Nile Rogers, Pat Leonard, William Orbit and Stuart Price will tell you that.

that part is specifically in reference to Max Martin. she'll be hands on and it will ruin things because max excels when the artist he works with gives him sort of full range to take the lead

this. it'll be the first time in years she has a chance of proper vocal production. come thru, Max!

That's alot of capital letters for two sentences. Did she just reveal some track titles?

Madonna has been playing with autotune since Music...every album has vocal heavy autotune songs. In Music every song has autotune moments...let's not pretend it's a Madame X thing

It’s not autotune. It’s vocoder.

I hope full album will be produced by MM

Madonna has a habit of not being that great with mainstream producers (remember the Rebel Heart demo?) so that's why I'm not optimistic. I just don't want to get my hopes up cause aside from Madame X, her 2010s output hasnt been that great

Nile Rodgers (Like A Virgin/Material Girl), Dallas Austin (Secret), Babyface (Take A Bow), David Foster (You'll See), Rick Nowels (TPOGB) say hello!

I think fans need to stop thinking that Madonna can only make good music if she works with an unknown European man in a basement and give her some more credit for what she brings to the table :skull:

This actually good for her. Madonna is all over the place as regards ideas lately but Max won't let her make songs that are not simple perfect pop songs. So they will complement each other.

Whoever she's worked w/ from Pat Leonard (her goat imo)to Babyface (her most meh/ blandest) to Nile Rodgers, Stuart Price, Mirwais, Diplo, David Foster, Orbit, etc..etc...Ultimately, there still a core Madonna 'sound' where you could blatantly tell & feel her imprint all over the melody and production.  Even the Avicii Rebel Heart demos had a classic Madonna, instant/infectious, amazing sound. She had potentially 2 worldwide smashes on that album. The botched, painfully neutered versions ended up the final result and *her fault. That whole era and period was def. the beginning of her bizarre, bad judgement & acting polar opposite to who/what she was the 1st 30 years of her career. Hopefully, Max & M NAIL it and he keeps her on track.

Yes, his 'name/brand' is a bit instantly stale BUT he's capable of being super eclectic as a producer. Fact he's behind a song like 'Blinding Lights' in the last 3 years says it all and should ease naysayers minds.

And nothing new but she's highly unlikely ever getting close to #1 in the US even it was a Blinding Lights-esque sensation lol. One of if not the most ageist, sexist countries on the map (esp. radio which you still need). Top 10...slim chance of top 5.

Yes, worldwide esp in specific countries it def. could happen. Most of Europe, Australia would love nothing more than to embrace an amazing pop comeback song from a legend like M. Even more so than Elton John (& look at the smashes & revival he's had).

He’s working on tour arrangements.
