Knew he’d cross 500k.

Congrats to Morgan. Looks like he is going to get a #1 hit and a few top 10s.

You really need to calm down and not get so worked up about a racist country act.

Or maybe research a bit before making paragraphs downplaying an artists achievement to compare them against the biggest male and female artists of the 2010s decade because you don’t like them.

Ah, that would explain it.  I did not realize that there were no vinyls and that many CDs did not ship.

All it took was a little time to figure out the details on what you were speaking about.

I think this will help Morgan’s 2nd and 3rd weeks since the shipping might pad the units.:clap3::clap3:

Chill.  I was just asking a genuine question.  A lot of you assume bad faith way too easily.

Pfff what “drag”? Calling an ugly, talentless, racist white man an “ugly, talentless, racist white man” isn’t intended to be a drag. It’s the truth

I wish Ain't That Some would have been in the Top 10 instead of You Proof, but this is easily the best Top 10 of the year. The last Top 10 that was good was the Midnights debut week. This beats seeing Unholy take up a spot in the bottom half of the Top 10 every week.

Revolting seeing America worship a racist that much.

Clearly those 4 songs are strong cause any other time Morgan would’ve charted higher

For me, it's not about worshipping Morgan Wallen. It's more about the charts being stale. The songs in the bottom half of the Top 10 and in the 40-50 range have been pretty much the same every week since January. It's now March. The charts badly needed a shake up.

it obviously is truth but I wasn't talking about that, that member edited your post when they quoted it to imply that Taylor is in the same boat as him...

Wallen becomes the first core country act to log at least half the Hot 100’s top 10 in a single week, and only the sixth act overall to achieve the feat. (Drake has posted three such weeks and The Beatles, who inaugurated the exclusive club in 1964, two.)

Acts With 5 or More of Hot 100’s Top 10 in a Single Week:
10, Taylor Swift, Nov. 5, 2022
9, Drake, Sept. 18, 2021
8, Drake, Nov. 19, 2022
7, 21 Savage, Nov. 19, 2022
7, Drake, July 14, 2018
5, Juice WRLD, July 25, 2020
5, Morgan Wallen, March 18, 2023
5, The Beatles, April 11, 1964
5, The Beatles, April 4, 1964

The only problem I have is Don't Think Jesus re-entering. It peaked last April (almost one year ago), and is in the bottom quadrant of the Hot 100. I feel like Billboard charted it just so history can be made. That spot could have been better filled by an up-and-coming song, rather than the 36th most popular song on an album that has been dead for months.

Billboard should definitely reinstate the rule that restricts older songs from charting on album release week unless they are actively being promoted.

It's been less than a year and less than 20 weeks.

***** about Freestyle, Wild As Her or Wait In Truck potentially being allowed to stay on despite below and #50 and over 20 weeks
