Or maybe it's because we do remember when it was a smash and this certainly doesn't live up to it nor do the sample justice (minus the chorus)

You can even hear the familiar “wind build up” a little in the chorus like it was meant to go somewhere harder but just doesn’t. I think maybe they wanted to try it as mid tempo like  Unholy.
