Obvi love Kim but the way she's been releasing singles under Republic has been so tedious and repetitive. It's BEEN time for the album announcement.

 

Like the fact that what should have been a huge Sydney World Pride performance was just last year's Coachella set (for the most part) for like fourth time.

Though I prefer her current rollout to whatever they were doing with FSN & Coconuts, it doesn't build that much hype.

I love the sample idea and it’s more aligned with her past Problématique concept of paying homage to europop/eurodance from the 00s… it’s weird bc that album barely had any influence of that (maybe UTTC, the rest just had a trendy disco-Ish vibe that everyone else was doing) so idk wtf she was on but now that’s more like it

Interesting since apparently Ava invited Kim to perform with her @ Sydney World Pride (and Kim couldn't ultimately). I wonder if they were gonna debut the song then or just tease something together. It could also be a situation where Ava sold a version of the song to Kim to rework like she did for Charli with Used To Know Me.
