Screaming at this :ahh:

targeting the straights is great, it has the love island-core that they might latch onto it while also being a camp basic pop gal song for the gays at the same time :penguin:

it’s refreshing to see a UK eurovision entry performing genuinely well in the current pop landscape - i.e streaming. hopefully we start to see a shift in the industry where this is now a viable way of launching upcoming next gen talent. it’s always been a huge platform, but was career suicide if you wanted to be a relevant ‘current’ name in pop. Måneskin has proved it’s possible to  launch a serious global act with legs. sam ryder has also had a huge deal of success but i think there was always potential to discover an adult contemporary star who is the radio 2 demographic on the eurovision stage.

Down 14 spots on Spotify to #70 but received approx. 2k more streams. Not a great result given the NMF exposure and prime time promo on the One Show, but positive that the streams are steady.

Has it been sent to Radio 1 yet?

Not yet, interestingly. I imagine it’ll be added next week.

It’s holding up quite well so far, given that the initial reveal hype would have died down now. Another small climb on Apple Music to #27 and still holding up on iTunes, just recently overtaken by Ellie x Calvin.

It hasn’t yet been playlisted by BBC Radio 1 or Radio 2 and hasn’t been added to Hot Hits UK on Spotify yet. Plenty of room for it to grow by May.

The first 48 hour boost is seemingly wearing off now, it’s stalled at #27 on Apple Music and she’s now dropped slightly to #63 on Amazon Music.

It’s really not much to worry about, at this stage. It hasn’t started freefalling and as mentioned earlier she still has (hopefully) radio support from BBC R1 & R2 and playlist support on Spotify to come.

I’m hoping this can make a cute Top 40 debut and build from there. We need her promoting this in Europe too - it’s a good sign for this being a hit in the UK, but it needs to catch on in Europe too if we want her to get a good result. I hope they had some promo slots lined up for her.

Wait, maybe I did a bit too much on her Spotify numbers because I’ve just double checked and her playlist support there is really non-existent omg.

Hot Hits UK - N/A

Pop Rising - N/A

New Pop Rising - #5

Pop Sauce - N/A

The Pop List - #5

Just Hits - #23

New Pop UK - #1 + Cover

New Pop Revolution - #5

Summer Hits UK 2023 - N/A

She’s N/A on the biggest pop playlists on the platform, so not a particularly big audience reach. Maybe 2 consecutive days of 100k streams is much better than we thought.

iTunes 🇬🇧- #3

Apple Music 🇬🇧 - #27

Amazon Music 🇬🇧 - #85

Deezer 🇬🇧 - #92

Spotify 🇬🇧- #165

It fell a massive 95 spots on Spotify :rip: Playlisting is needed ASAP

#32 on Shazam UK, not a bad start. It got some TV exposure this am on Sunday Brunch & radio play on BBC R2 too.

The fact that it’s started to fall so quickly on streaming services obviously isn’t great, but it’s still outperforming other precious U.K. Eurovision songs at this stage. There’s still plenty of room for it to grow on the airplay charts, so I’m sure this will eventually become a hit.

Very Mabel'd and that is not a compliment. It's ok though.

She’s going to drop out of Spotify, Amazon Music & Deezer by tomorrow

#19 on the Official Charts first look, there’s absolutely no way it’ll stay there but fingers crossed for a Top 40 debut.
