This sounds like it belongs to Love Island as a background soundtrack. And I mean this in the most derogatory way possible. All the other rumored entries were significantly better with much better staging potential.

It's okay I guess. Chorus is lacking that extra 'oomph' and it's not on the level of Fuego, SloMo or hell even El Diablo. It has potential to come alive on stage though

I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. Honestly we’ve sent FAR worse and they’ve clearly tried to appeal to the younger crowd and sent (what they think is) a credible ‘pop’ song and not just a ‘Eurovision’ song…

 

It’s kind of the opposite spectrum to what they did with Sam Ryder, so we’ll see how this works out.

Honestly her more low-key pop sounding stuff is much better than this, but I understand that they wanted something "bigger" for Eurovision. Therapist is her best song

The constant negativity mostly from the Brits towards our own entries does get a bit tiresome though, I can’t lie. Like.. this clearly isn’t winning material but it’s absolutely fine and it’s an inoffensive bop, we have sent much worse ddd. I know it’s not much but #1 on iTunes UK and #75 on Apple Music UK (Pop charts) - yet to crack the all genres chart. 
 

I assume it’ll get some kind of NMF push on Spotify at midnight, too. 
 

Edit; she’s also #1 trending on YouTube, too. The more I listen to it, the more I think it’s a perfectly acceptable trashy bop. The “da dada dada diii” part is the kind of basic catchy melody the crowd will eat up ddd
