It did outside of America. CM has it at 1.9m physical singles sold.

Yeah for a while "imported" singles were the rage. The refusal to release US singles is what helped kickstart Napster.

its so funny how most of the songs are from 2008-2012

lose yourself is truly the most impressive, singles back then barely sold anything

Posted

Uptown Funk at #16 is the most recent release on the list from November 2014. by then digital numbers had peaked .

Not Katy's singles being local now. I've seen it all in this forum :toofunny2:

Katy has like 10 diamond singles, I'd expect to see at least one on this chart.

dont think any Katy singles have sold 15 million downloads tho unless you meant the whole list.

I’ve been tracking Firework’s sales way before the streaming era started and besides the USA, the UK, and Australia, the rest of its certifications haven’t changed.
Tik Tok’s certs in the USA include SPS too :toofunny2:

exactly, and if you take streams away from the 12x platinum cert you're left with 7M pure sales, which is the true number as confirmed by Billboard

+ TikTok was much more global, it finished at #1 on the 2010 IFPI singles chart with 12.8M while Firework didn't even make the 2011 list when the #10 song was 6.5M

Again, this thread is about pure sales, whats not clicking?

US - 7.5m

Canada + AUS - 1.1m

UK - 1m

Thats ~9.6m in its biggest markets. No way it did another ~5.4m in other countries.
