The Americans doing the most as usual… more people die in their monthly shootings all over the US but only “thoughts and prayers”. 🫠

this is absolutely terrible, may those hurt rest in peace my goodness what is this world.

I have to ask tho, why would haitian smugglers be kidnapped? I’m trying to understand how that part would makes sense?

I just saw in the news that the Americans that were kidnapped, all of them had charges in drug trafficking. Now all of this makes more sense LOL.

I don't laugh about people dying. I just said that all of this makes more sense.

They were involved with the cartel, they crossed the border to keep trafficking drugs. Sadly that's what you get when you're doing this kind of "business".

@ttsmu If she lied about a BBL appointment and was just trying to score at some point that'll likely be made public.

If people hadn't died I wouldn't have as much of a problem with this speculation but this ain't it.

If the problem is your larger issue of framing of crime in Mexico generally, that's on our press.

This is why I’ll never go to Mexico.

This is why you stay away from border towns and only visit the tourist areas.

With American tourists? No, it isn't. It's extremely rare. The cartels don't want the press, despite the stereotype of bigger glory for recruitment.

With Mexicans themselves and migrants AT the border? Yes - extremely common. The U.S. press, the Mexican press, and the Mexican government don't care about the tens of thousands of Mexicans themselves and/or migrants that have been kidnapped or killed - at least not when compared to the level of coverage this incident has received, which has been called out already.
