XAMJ Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 poor other fanbases, clinging onto whatever fake stat they can come up with. meanwhile riri is slaying without caring

The best way to quantify how many real people an artist's music reaches is through touring. Unfortunately, Rihanna is not very good at that. Im sure this made sense in your head Rihanna has probably toured the most countries out of any popgirl anyway.
liquiddiamonds Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 (edited) Swifities vs Every female that does something impressive on ATRL is getting tired by now lol No one cares if Taylor is the most streamed artist on a song by song basis, since that’s not the methodology being used here. Her achievements are constantly celebrated in other spaces. When Taylor was #1 for monthly listeners when Midnights smashed out of the gate was stupid to downplay that achievement too. I understand that there’s a lot of bait around, but it was not the case here at all. It’s weird energy and it’s present every time SOS is celebrated too (although in those cases i do see other fanbases baiting you guys)… it aint hard to scroll past. It’s always the same people and Taylor doesn’t need that at all OT: powerful catalogue she has Edited March 6, 2023 by liquiddiamonds

eleganceislearned Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 She's been around for nearly 2 decades at this point and has a ton of features, I'm not surprised at all tbh.
Johnny Jacobs Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 (edited) The delusional monsters and swifties cant handle it huh? When we'll see the day those vanilla stans of their vanilla faves wont belittle a successful black woman? Beyonce, SZA, Rihanna.. Edited March 6, 2023 by Johnny Jacobs

DonDesperado Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Good achievement, 7 years since ANTi. That's so good. She clearly wasted the boost of the SB for an album
Klein Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 (edited) I understand the title is a little misleading but why are people being so dense? Congrats Rihanna for doing that despite barely releasing any new music in 7 years. Edited March 6, 2023 by Klein

Who cares if someone listened to one of your singles for 45 seconds while putting a playlist on shuffle mode. That person was not really searching for your music specifically. I find the actual number of streams than an artist gets more impressive because it is harder to build a big audience that can help you get a long music career. Everyone here knows WHY so many artists that reach 50-60-70-80M monthly listeners struggle to sell out tour, they eventually have to move into other business ventures. OT: congrats to Ms Avon for that achievement. This failed attempt at shade knowing how one-dimensional the girl in your avi is and how she does not have the range to succeed outside of making mediocre music. Even the Oscars said NO to her desperate attempt at 'directing'. It's lovely to see ORH undermine and discredit rihanna at every attempt considering how they were anticipating her failure prior to the superbowl and the complete opposite happened (like it always does) Edited March 6, 2023 by airplane
getBusy Posted March 6, 2023 Author Posted March 6, 2023 I knew i was gonna have fun with the replies when i created this thread, but not THIS MUCH FUN. Some of y’all are truly delusional 😂 The excuses are next level. Congrats ORH, you outdid yourselves 👏🏼

Even the Oscars said NO to her desperate attempt at 'directing' so i'd sit this one out. "one dimensional" "mediocre music" when she has an AOTY win in 3 different genres... Be serious. (Not that I support any of what that delusional user said though)

OT: congrats to Ms Avon for that achievement. You really thought you said something, don’t you ? You sound jealous AF! Rihanna was named the most streamed female artist in 5 different years, a record yet to be broken. Rihanna IS the streaming queen and the fact that she hasn’t released an album since 2016 and doing these numbers, while some other girlies have to multi spam to achieve such milestones is an indicator of her power! You can criticize all you want about her being an avon lady, but she is the most influential female artist on earth, a MOGUL, she is the FUTURE my dear! Now go back to join your streaming farms, mommy needs points for billboard next week. Edited March 6, 2023 by Rihannito
BGKC Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Not at all surprising. She is the OG streaming behemoth and was bound to see an incredible boost like that
Soda Pop Queen Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Back in pole position with no new music in sight. An effortless slay.
Trent W Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Regardless of how people feel about streams of monthly listeners Rihanna is the undisputed queen of streaming. She’s above SZA, Taylor, Adele, Beyonce, Miley and others without a new album in 7 years. It’s insane Honestly no one else can pull this off, I stan the other women too but none of them would be pulling these numbers without an album in 7 years.
youkneekorn Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Neither surprised, nor pressed. Only a certain fanbase was pressed by Queen RiRi’s thunderous return at the SBHTS.

Like nobody else has ever done this and I honestly doubt anyone else could.

RihFenty20 Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 She fact that she can still reach this many people after so long is monumental. Nobody else could do this. I really hope we can get the album by the end of the year because witnessing the meltdowns here after she stomps like she did with ANTI will be hilarious.
EliteNaviShit Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 The replies in here Now imagine what would happen if Rihanna was actively releasing LET ALONE trying hard like a certain someone and shoving her music down people’s throats. Just do the math. The numbers are there
Caribbean Boy Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 No wonder a certain fan base was fuming on Twitter today…..the baby Karens was out in their number…. Congrats queen
