getBusy Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Is this the average boost all artists get after the superbowl? Discuss.

Selegend Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 No. her super bowl did a great job on making people focus on the music and her catalog got a deserved boost. she was my #2 most streamed artist in february.
aesthetic bih Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 She was the original streaming elixir. Superbowl only boosted that
Squall Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 This stat is quite random as explained by MJD though
Deemy Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 No new music mind you. This is crazy. The career ending performance did that.
Rihannito Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 (edited) No album since 2016, no spamming, just a discography full of CLASSICS, some girlies can’t relate Edited March 6, 2023 by Rihannito
brazil Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 This is amazing considering how long it been since she released an album

No large fanbases or yearly album releases needed, just classics and love from the GP Edited March 6, 2023 by airplane
Robyn. Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 The way she could've broken every monthly listener record if she dropped an album after the Super Bowl. Rihanna's success has always been effortless. Even if a lot of people were disappointed about her performance, she's still winning in the end.
Trent W Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Is quite impressive how she was the biggest digital seller then moved to be the most streamed female. The most shocking part is that she has been absent 90% of the streaming era.
MardinBeksloy Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 By this logistic the weekend is the most listened male artists when in fact it’s Bad Bunny this stat is highly inflated by payola and playlisting
FunCoric Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 that is not true lol. taylor has more streams daily by far

How is the monthly listener count payola'd and playlist-related? I mean... you guys need to be creative when it comed to dissing Rih's numbers... but c'mon... at least make some sense
abelfenty Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 She could’ve probably crossed 100M with an album release
Zaram Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Imagine if she continued to release She would fight with the men for the top position.

It's so funny to see 12 minutes ago, MardinBeksloy said: By this logistic the weekend is the most listened male artists when in fact it’s Bad Bunny this stat is highly inflated by payola and playlisting Rihanna has dozens of hits across multiple genres which is why you'll find her in almost every playlist. Her playlisting reach has remained almost stagnant pre and post Superbowl. People chose to listen to her music after the Superbowl as proven by multiple songs in the Global 200 of Spotify. The "payola" accusations are very lame. Edited March 6, 2023 by airplane

I mean... you guys need to be creative when it comed to dissing Rih's numbers... but c'mon... at least make some sense Monthly listeners do not =/= daily streams. Monthly listeners gets heavily impacted by singles on playlists, since you’re reaching a larger *quantity* of people, but you might not necessarily be pulling in the highest quantity of streams. Just like they mentioned, The Weeknd has the most monthly listeners but Bad Bunny gets the most daily & monthly streams by far. Same with Taylor vs Rih rn. Not that it’s a non-significant accomplishment, both are impressive for different reasons. **not endorsing the payola part of their post, just the playlisting part** Edited March 6, 2023 by WeFoundTrouble
