Richmond Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 how will SZA and her team scrape up 60 pts for a 3-4 month old song welp, it's over
Smarticle Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Hopefully Mileys release will boost Flowers over Morgan
Bosque Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 That song is not good at all. His nasally ass voice is so grating
schnetzka Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 I remember in the 2000s, Carrie Underwood's "Inside Your Heaven" was the only country song to hit #1 on Billboard Hot 100. And now it seems to be happening more (if you can consider "Old Town Road" to be country in anyway with Billy being on the track).

It’s not even country-pop. I will grant you that country music and fans have finally started to embrace streaming though. Those songs make up a chunk of the hot 100 now.

It was so blatantly a pop song that they had to add some banjo music at the start when they sent it to country stations. Plsss. Meant to To Be was the closest and that barely was country pop.

So that is a start at least.

CottageHore Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Moments like this are all the proof I need to know karma is not even the slightest bit real

I was referring to SZA attempting to trump Morgan for #1

(Not to mention, Faith Hill’s “Breathe” beat out Smooth for the YE #1, despite never actually being #1 on the weekly charts.) Edited March 6, 2023 by pride4jc1222

Well Carrie was at least the only solo country artist in the 2000s to her a Billboard Hot 100 #1 at least lol.
Jude Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Ugh. Miley need to be petty and sell flowers for 39 cents. We cannot let that racist win.
