Flowers is safe :clap3:

Glad Ed fans can enjoy the song :clap3:

lyrics are beautiful, but that pop production again. :dies: This would have been so much better if they kept is a sad acoustic-ish song, like what I expected for the entire subtract album.

never a good sign when ATRL like a song, he never frontloaded guy which would do massive numbers later on schedule.

I don't hate it, but it sounded far better in the stripped back snippet he made. He managed to drain all of the emotion and interest out of his own song.

I came in like a wrecking ball~

When he posted about the 1M TikToks that were all bought :bibliahh: I lowkey live for how chart obsessed he is

It’s just ok. I think I may actually like Bad Habits and Shivers more.

signed CDs on HMV website are sold out but are still available on Warner Music UK
I think he will get that #1 in the UK

Never doubt Ed's commercial power  Even if it flops in the US it will smash in EU/Australia  He just doesnt have big debuts anymore since his fanbase is the gp and not stans who stay up until midnight to stream their favs new single on loop

This is eh. I feel like since it’s spring and we’re heading towards the warm weather the GP won’t be here for this type of sound from him. Would have been better to release in September for the fall.

tbh he lost tons of appeal to the gp with all the commercial ****. he used to be the gp's darling until the last two projects  his last album was a nonevent despite two massive hits.

I thought he was smarter than this, coming back with a new song which is barely different from his latest projects make no sense. it's even weaker than usual. how are people supposed to get excited about this album?  a song with sound would have made people be excited about "Old Ed Sheeran is back". Also it doesn't even fit the upcoming season, he should have released earlier or August a la folklore.

I can see this debuting with 3M on Spotify. but ATRL shouldn't get too excited, Bad Habits debuted with just 4.7M (and Ed had more hype back then) yet it's at 1.5B right now lol.

I agree with all of this

However Bad Habits and Shivers, despite low debuts, were legit bops and as a matter of fact they became big hits. I honestly don’t see it for Eyes Closed

Still extremely far off from entering the Top 200 Overall :deadbanana:

LMAO I’m here for Ed flopping.

He’s #10 on UK Apple Music, but that’s very poor for him.

It will smash, because sadly, he will shove it down people's throats. And I can't stand it!

I need a stripped-back version now.

This will smash in time, as he will do tons of promo.
