How can you be so oblivious to this blatant double standard. You're right there's no need to discuss this with someone who is so blatantly blind to reality. And I'll add organizations like the NAACP have lead multiple campaigns begging Urban & Rap artists to stop using the N-word. Im not asking your race as it's not my business. But, so, I guess the NAACP must not mean much to today's Black community, despite its 114 years of trying to eliminate systematic racism. EDIT this is getting too off topic so I'll say nothing further about this. You are such a giant weirdo

besaid Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 The near constant hysteria over Wallen's years old use of a word one time which he has repeatedly apologized for...same people who forgave R. Kelly and Chris Brown for decades too. Wallen isn't going anywhere and the attempt at "cancelling" him just made him even bigger so congratulations for that brilliant move.

He didn't use it in a way that was directed at anyone black either, it was a dumb private comment. This is not the same as unrepentant Nazi Kanye West who will be ignored when he debuts at #1 with his next effort yet will be talked about completely differently on this site.

That was not the first time it was just recorded this time. How little brain power do you have to have to think that that was his first time saying the n word? He was completely comfortable doing it. You’re also an idiot if you think “private” means absolutely anything here at all either. It implies what kind of language you use when you think no one will care. Being a white man apologist is the worst thing you can be on this website. Filth.

Of course it matters that there's no victim and was a private drunken comment, wtf? But whatever excuse to keep yourself mad, I couldn't care less . He remains a massive force in music and almost everyone normal has moved on from what was long ago apologized for and blown out of proportion to begin with. People make mistakes and most people are ok with moving on and accepting that. The numbers prove it.

Ger Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 Taking his previous album's performance and given the stability is showing tbh, I can see Morgan staying atop easily with 250-280k. Miley performing poorly compared to the hype, she should be doing 120-140k, in danger to do less, wouldn't be surprised if TWICE challenges the runner-up spot.
