ariananext Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 36 songs???? They don't know the difference between album and compilation these days. I hate this trend of long ass albums for numbers, 15 tracks albums are the best.

Badgalbriel Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Breaking the 2023 record is not really impressive. The biggest debut day was only 35m so far.
vale9001 Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 (edited) 44M streams on Us Spotify i thought a lot better, like 55-60M. Midnights made 88M with half the tracks Edited March 4, 2023 by vale9001

vale9001 Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 40 songs in the Us top 200. I guess it's a record.

I though the hype for him was enough to bring him to the millions. His longevity will be one for the books, though.

By the Water Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Those spotify numbers are kinda tragic even in the US
YellowRibbon Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 I wouldn't count him out just yet. His songs usually gain traction days or weeks after their release. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he got more streams today than yesterday because his rise on AM only accelerated during the late afternoon/early evening.

I was fearing a lot worse considering his AM domination He’s still getting a #1 and multiple top 10s on the hot100 though

But yeah 36 songs are just insane and they are all doing well Or you mean compared to his Spotify, then yeah they are. Really interesting Think the debut will be in the 400-500k range. He just doesnt have that far of a reach. Its the same people listening over and over and over again
simmnfierzig Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Also interesting that Last Night, which is already a month old, is still easily the biggest song. maybe his fans hate the rest

I should think Taylor gets way stronger streams outside America than Morgan Wallen the "problem" here is the insane longevity he's gonna have anyway
Sscorpionn Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 He’s occupying 15 songs in the top 20 on US Spotify
simmnfierzig Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 85% or so of the Spotify streams from the US 4 minutes ago, Starkboy said: stronger than the Spotify numbers I meant. But yeah clearly all from US streams
