And despite releasing no album, her playlisting is as high as artists who released recent albums so how is that helping your point

Because she has the most hits out of any other artist on there? Ofc they will be playlisted. Thousands of automatic playlists on Spotify are literally about hits of each year and each decade ( Hits of 2004, hits of 2005, hits of the 2000s, hits of the 2010s etc..)  and others about hits from each genre or just some called "nostalgic hits" :rip:

You can't expect playlisting to help in that case. No album in 7 years. You can't argue on that. Her streams are amazing for not being active in the streaming era. If she released 5+ albums in the streaming era, she would literally stabilize at 70M daily streams.

She just performed to 120M people and despite that, 1989 is already outstreaming every album by her daily. Speak Now (Taylor's second lowest streamed album daily) is outstreaming more than half of her albums as well.

If Taylor's streams are high thanks to being spammed on playlists as that user claimed, same argument can be made for Rihanna too

They just cant comprehend I guess that as big as Rihanna is on streaming, Taylor stomps on her in that metric as well.

Let's pretend that it's not available to every artist signed to a big label.

Debut...like if it never happened with other songs. :bibliahh:

It's such a bad remix but it's always on amazon music as the next song after the playlist is over

This will have a steep drop in the next 2-4 weeks. Autoplay is not sustainable for a hit it is a waste of (l)abel's money

Isn't there an algorithm for streams that says a song needs to be played at least 30 seconds or sth for the stream to be counted? I reckon I heard about it once but I'm not sure.

If there isn't one it SHOULD definitely be created ASAP, that would solve all these kinds of issues tbh. It should be applied to all streaming platforms as well.

Considering it’s a random album track from 6 years ago that’s not even meant to be streamed today :deadbanana:

This is what a #1 is worth now.
